About Dark Labyrinth
A dark browser maze game about listening, hiding, and escaping before the creatures find you.
Dark Labyrinth is a stealth-focused horror maze game that runs directly in the browser. The player explores a procedurally generated maze with only a small torch radius, while hostile creatures patrol the corridors. The main challenge is not just moving quickly, but understanding when movement is dangerous. Some enemies react to sound, so standing still can be the safest choice. Other enemies rely more on sight, so the player must use corners, walls, vents, and gadgets to survive.
The game is designed to be easy to start and tense to master. Each level introduces more pressure: additional monsters, faster pursuit, new enemy behavior, and limited-use tools. The goal in campaign mode is to reach the green exit and progress as far as possible. Endless mode changes the focus from clearing levels to surviving distance, giving players a score based on how long they can keep moving through the darkness.
Dark Labyrinth can be played with keyboard controls on desktop or on-screen joystick controls on mobile. The interface includes a minimap that only records places you have already visited, so it supports navigation without removing the fear of the unknown. The game also includes settings for audio, account access, help, and leaderboard viewing.
Why the game is built this way
The core idea is simple: darkness should make every decision matter. Instead of showing the whole maze, the game limits what the player can see and hear. Footsteps, line of sight, vents, and gadget timing all become part of the strategy. This creates short, replayable sessions where a careful player can outsmart danger instead of relying only on speed.
